The KGB evaluated positively the anti-religious propaganda and actions aimed at discrediting priests via printed media being undertaken by party structures and reported on the reaction of the clergy and its response actions. Attention is drawn to Vilnius Calvary, which attracts believers and which it is advised to close together with the nearby churches and monasteries
