In this document, the LSSR KGB Chairman instructs the KGB subdivisions to clarify the public reaction to the rejection of the delegation of LSSR people’s deputies to vote on the establishment of the constitutional surveillance committee at the USSR Congress of People’s Deputies on 8 June 1989. They are also urged to form the public opinion through agents and reliable persons, that such actions may affect the reformation processes in Lithuania.
