Back to search resultsLetter dated 1 April 1959 to all KGB representatives in cities and districts by Colonel Martavičius, Interim Deputy Chairman of the KGB of the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic, regarding reports on the preventive work perfomed.
By this letter, KGB territorial units are obligated to present information about the effectiveness of preventive measures being taken to the 4th Division. Furthermore, they must present information about new forms of anti-soviet resistance; moods, behaviour, and anti-soviet activities of former deportees and prisoners; and the performed ideological and political education work in society.
