This document presents a report on the situation of security of state secrets in various state institutions, what assistance was provided to the institutions by the KGB in ensuring security. However, it is noted that in spite of all measures, shortcomings occur. Most often the cases of irresponsible behaviour with secret information are related to the protection of information channels, irresponsible behaviour with documents, insufficient tracking of persons who work with secret information, especially during their visits abroad.
