This reference contains statistical data on cadres and leadership of LSSR KGB departments (age, education, labour record, national composition, professional preparation). Also it is reported how USSR KGB directives are implemented as regards the professional, political and moral level of cadres and especially of leadership of departments. A report is also presented on the KGB cadre policy of separate regions and solution of the problems faced; plans of work with cadres for the year 1981 are provided.
